APPLEMAX™ Triple - Broad Spectrum Antiparasitic Liquid for Horses

APPLEMAX™ Triple is a powerful three-way combination liquid wormer formulated to treat and control a wide range of internal parasites in horses, including resistant strains.

This advanced formula combines oxibendazole, praziquantel and ivermectin to deliver comprehensive parasite control in a low-volume, palatable apple-flavoured drench.

Active Constituents

• Oxibendazole – 200mg/mL

• Praziquantel – 50mg/mL

• Ivermectin – 4mg/mL

Dosage & Administration

Shake well before use.

Administer orally at 1mL per 20kg bodyweight.

This delivers:

• 0.2mg/kg ivermectin

• 10mg/kg oxibendazole

• 2.5mg/kg praziquantel

APPLEMAX™ Triple is a ready-to-use combination drench and can be administered using standard drenching equipment.

Administration Guidelines

• Deposit the medication at the rear of the tongue.

• Immediately raise the horse’s head for several seconds to ensure the full dose is swallowed.

• Do not underdose.

• Dose according to label weight ranges.

• Use correct drenching technique.

• Rinse drench guns with water immediately after use.

• Check drench gun accuracy regularly.

Is APPLEMAX™ Triple safe to use in all horses? Yes, APPLEMAX^TM Triple can safely be used in all types of horses including foals, pregnant and lactating mares and breeding stallions. It is particularly effective at treatment of ivermectin resistant Parascaris equorum in foals.

Is APPLEMAX™ Triple palatable? Yes, APPLEMAX^TM Triple as the name suggests is apple flavoured making dosing easy.

I’ve never used a liquid wormer before, will my horse be able to spit it out? APPLEMAX^TM Triple is a low dose liquid wormer and a small 12mL dose will treat a 600kg horse. The syringe included in each box allows you to deposit the dose on the back of the horses tongue making it very difficult to spit out.

What if I don’t use all of the product at one time? That’s not a problem at all. Once you have finished worming your horse(s), simply replace the cap and store the product as per the directions on the label. The remaining product can be used up until the date of expiry.
