The range may include lightweight summer rugs, cotton dress rugs, mid-season styles, filled winter rugs, mesh combos, separate hoods, neck rugs, rug bibs and other practical accessories. Product types will change as remaining stock sells and other lines are reduced.
Choose a rug according to the weather, the horse’s coat, access to shelter and individual needs. Waterproof, water-resistant and showerproof are not interchangeable terms, so check the individual product specifications rather than assuming that every sale rug is suitable for wet weather.
Follow the manufacturer’s measuring guide, as sizing and fit can differ between brands and rug designs. Check that the rug allows comfortable shoulder movement, sits correctly at the chest and remains securely positioned. Hoods, neck rugs and accessories must also be compatible with the rug and correctly sized for the horse.
