Always read the label and confirm that the product is suitable for horses, the intended insect and the proposed application area. Follow directions for dilution, protective equipment, reapplication, withholding periods and use around feed or water. Avoid the eyes, mouth and sensitive or broken skin unless specifically directed. Patch-test unfamiliar topical products where appropriate, and check current competition rules before use on a performance horse.
