Confirm the available measurements before purchasing and make sure the leather or synthetic strap is compatible with the saddle’s stirrup bars.

Inspect stirrups, treads, hinges, safety mechanisms, stitching, buckles and adjustment holes regularly. Replace any component showing cracking, stretching, corrosion or other damage. Safety stirrups may reduce particular entrapment risks, but their mechanisms and intended uses vary and they do not eliminate all riding risks.
