IN THE BEGINNING

In 1976, Jim Mreen purchased Toklat Originals and started selling CoolBack Western saddle pads. Soon after, he added WoolBack and Medallion. Before he knew it, Toklat had become one of the most important saddle pad manufacturers in the US, servicing English, Western, and endurance riders. Today, Toklat is world-renowned for quality brands that are manufactured, imported, and distributed from Oregon, USA.

Toklat consults with leading horse experts and product designers whose expertise goes into the products that are made. Many products have been tested and endorsed by top horsemen and women in both the English and Western communities.
