In-Feed Wormers for Horses

Make worming easier for horses that resist oral syringes with our selected range of in-feed horse wormers. In-feed wormers vary in their active ingredients, parasites covered, dosage rates and pack sizes. Some formulations control selected roundworms and bots but may not treat tapeworm, while others provide different or broader parasite coverage. Always read the individual product information and registered label rather than choosing a wormer by administration method alone.

Accurately determine the horse’s bodyweight and measure the complete required dose. Mix the product thoroughly with a small quantity of feed and supervise the horse to ensure all medicated feed is consumed. Feed refusal, spillage, competition from another horse or an incomplete meal may result in underdosing and reduced effectiveness. Horses should therefore be separated when necessary and observed until dosing is complete.

Use faecal egg counts and veterinary advice to help determine whether treatment is required and which active ingredient is appropriate.
