Horse Sweat Scrapers

Remove excess water from your horse’s coat after bathing or a final rinse with our range of horse sweat scrapers. These simple, practical grooming tools help draw water from the coat and are useful additions to stable, wash-bay, travel and competition grooming kits.

Choose from lightweight plastic sweat scrapers, traditional metal-blade designs and comfortable GelGrip or deluxe options. A selection of colours is available to coordinate with other grooming equipment or identify tools used for individual horses.

Prepare the coat with suitable products from our horse shampoos and conditioners range. Once the coat is dry, use horse brushes and combs to complete the grooming routine, and keep your equipment together in a practical grooming bag or kit.

Use long, gentle strokes over the horse’s larger, well-muscled areas. Take care around the spine, joints and other bony or sensitive areas, and do not use a scraper over broken or irritated skin. When cooling a horse after strenuous exercise or in hot conditions, prioritise appropriate active cooling and veterinary assistance if the horse shows signs of heat stress.
