Abbey Applemax Gold is an apple-flavoured liquid horse wormer combining ivermectin and praziquantel for broad-spectrum control of susceptible internal parasites, including tapeworms, roundworms and bots.
The low-volume liquid formulation allows accurate dosing according to bodyweight. Only 12mL is required for a 600kg horse, and the 120mL bottle contains enough product to treat up to ten 600kg horses.

Oral Administration
An undiluted dose is generally preferred when administering Applemax Gold orally.

Ensure the horse’s mouth is free from feed.

Measure the correct dose using the supplied dosing syringe.

Elevate the horse’s head.

Place the measured dose towards the back of the mouth.

Avoid using excessive pressure or depositing the product around the laryngeal area.

Keep the horse’s head elevated briefly and ensure the complete dose is retained and swallowed.
Depositing the dose towards the front of the mouth may increase the likelihood of rejection.
Administration by Stomach Tube
Applemax Gold may also be administered by nasogastric intubation. This method requires specialised knowledge and must only be performed by a veterinarian or under veterinary supervision.
When administering by stomach tube, the measured dose may be used undiluted or diluted with clean, tepid water according to the label directions. Discard any unused diluted suspension after 24 hours.

Storage After Opening
