Equimec Paste is a low-volume, broad-spectrum ivermectin horse wormer for the treatment and control of susceptible roundworms, bots and certain parasitic skin conditions. Each 6.42g syringe contains sufficient paste to treat a horse weighing up to 600kg.
Equimec contains ivermectin and does not control tapeworm. Use a product registered for tapeworm control when required as part of your horse’s parasite management program.

Dosage and administration:
Administer orally according to bodyweight. One 6.42g syringe treats a horse weighing up to 600kg.
Set the syringe plunger to the horse’s accurately determined bodyweight. Ensure the horse’s mouth is free from food before placing the paste over the back of the tongue. Raise the horse’s head briefly after administration to encourage swallowing.
Do not underdose. Always read and follow the registered product label. Consult your veterinarian for advice on faecal egg testing, resistance management and a parasite control program suited to your horses.
