Ausrichter

Ausrichter Pty Ltd, founded in 1971 by veterinary surgeon Dr Wilhelm Marbach, began as the Australian agency for Richter Pharma of Austria—a company with origins dating back to the 1600s and now a globally successful pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Over time, Ausrichter expanded its portfolio, securing additional international agencies and developing a diverse product range for both small and large animals. Today, Ausrichter distributes products from Richter Pharma AG (Austria) and CZ Veterinaria SL (Spain).

In 2011, the company acquired Penetrene “A” Liniment, followed by several well-known veterinary products added in 2015, including Enerselen Injection, DL-Methionine Injection, Austrazole Fungicidal Wash, Scour-X Oral Anti-Diarrhoeal Suspension, Tolflam Anti-Inflammatory Injection, and Romazine 100, a sedative and muscle relaxant for horses and deer.

Ausrichter’s Managing Director, Warwick Harnwell, brings over 50 years of veterinary industry experience across Australia and internationally. The company is now wholly owned and operated by an Australian family, continuing its long commitment to supplying trusted animal health solutions.
