The transparent formula dries within seconds and is designed to last throughout the day. Because it dries quickly, it is less likely to attract hay, dust or bedding than traditional wet-look hoof dressings.

Supplied with an application brush inside the cap, Keratex Hoof Shield can be applied directly to clean, dry hoof walls for a crystal-clear shine without adding black pigment.

Directions for use:

Begin with clean, completely dry and healthy hooves.

Using the brush supplied, apply the varnish evenly to the outside hoof wall only. Do not apply it to the coronary band, frog, sole or bulbs of the heel.

Allow the varnish to dry fully before the hoof comes into contact with dust, bedding or other surfaces that could spoil the finish.

For external application to healthy equine hoof walls only. Keep away from the horse’s eyes, nose and mouth.
