Spectrum B-Complex Paste
B-Complex is a vitamin and mineral paste specially formulated for horses. Vitamins are required in the diet for optimal growth, maintenance, reproduction, and performance.
Race Horses:
24 hours before race day B-Complex paste can be given in a 10g dose to achieve high blood levels before the stress of racing. This pre-race loading will ensure the metabolic cofactors are readily available to facilitate quick recovery after the race
Vitamin A
Vitamin A has been found to enhance the immune system through its role in maintaining the innate and adaptive immune response to infection. Vitamin A also regulates gene expression during cell differentiation. Due to this regulation, it is very important in reproduction and the creation of the embryo.Along with Vitamin A’s role in fertility and horse immunity, it is also a strong antioxidant, which also assists in reducing free radical cell damage.
Vitamin E
Tocopherols and tocotrienols aid in metabolising fats. For the performance horse, they reduce muscle damage by interrupting the production of free radicals, which cause tissue damage.
