Cryochaps K2F ice boots are compression cooling boots for horses, designed to provide rapid cooling and full lower leg coverage after exercise or injury. With knee to fetlock and hock to fetlock coverage in one boot, they combine ice and compression to support recovery, reduce heat in the leg and help manage swelling.
These boots are made in two parts, with a malleable ice gel wrap and a stretch neoprene compression sleeve. The gel is designed to mould closely to the leg for effective cold transfer, while the sleeve helps create secure contact and compression for added support.

How to use:
Distribute the gel evenly across the wrap before freezing
Ensure the wrap is dry before placing in the freezer
Place flat in the freezer at -18 to -24 degrees for a minimum of 24 hours
Wet the horse’s legs before application to improve cold transfer
Wrap and secure the boot to the leg
Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and repeat if required
Important information:
Cross tie the horse and monitor throughout use
Do not use on open wounds
Do not leave on longer than 15 minutes, as this could lead to skin damage
For sensitive or clipped legs, cover the leg before application
Take advice from your vet before using after injury
Care instructions:
After use, dry off the leg
Push the gel back up the wrap
Check the heat seals at the bottom remain intact
Return the wrap to the freezer
