Dosage & Administration
Recommended Dose
1mL per 50kg bodyweight
Equivalent to 200µg ivermectin/kg and 1.5mg praziquantel/kg
APPLEMAX™ GOLD may be administered:

As an oral drench (preferred method)

Via nasogastric intubation (by or under veterinary supervision only)
Oral Drench Instructions

Clear the horse’s mouth of any feed material.

Elevate the horse’s head.

Using the supplied syringe, place the measured dose at the back of the tongue.

Avoid excessive pressure and do not administer into the laryngeal area.

Keep the horse’s head elevated briefly to help ensure the full dose is swallowed.
To help minimise coughing or product loss, avoid administering large volumes of diluted product. An undiluted dose is generally preferred.
Important: Discard any unused diluted suspension after 24 hours.

What if I do not use the entire bottle?
Simply replace the cap and store the product as directed. The remaining contents can be used until the expiry date.
