Equi-Solfen® is a ready-to-use anaesthetic and antiseptic spray-on gel designed to provide rapid and long-lasting relief for horses with superficial skin wounds. Applied once daily for up to seven days, it helps manage acute pain, reduce bleeding, protect against infection and support optimal wound healing.
How Equi-Solfen® Works
Equi-Solfen® combines four active components to deliver comprehensive wound care:

Lignocaine & Bupivacaine – Local anaesthetics that block pain signals from damaged tissue, providing fast and sustained pain relief.

Adrenaline – Constricts blood vessels to reduce bleeding and help minimise stress and shock.

Cetrimide – An antiseptic and surfactant that protects against infection and supports the healing process.
The gel formulation foams on contact, helping to seal and protect the wound surface for improved healing conditions.

Directions for Use
Suitable for superficial skin wounds only. Apply once daily for up to seven days.

Ensure nozzle is finger-tight.

Loosen nozzle with two half-turns counterclockwise to set spray pattern.

Hold applicator approximately 10cm from the wound.

Use a quick, firm squeeze to allow the product to foam on contact.

Apply 1mL (one spray) per 4cm² (2cm x 2cm) of wound area.

Cover the entire wound area, particularly the edges.
Important:
After Use

Remove applicator and spray remaining product back into the bottle.

Replace transit cap.

Rinse applicator by pumping clean water through the tubing.

Wipe dry and store in a clean location to prevent contamination.
