Ice treatments for horses to minimise trauma and swelling, particularly in the lower leg and joint areas.

 

Ice treatments are commonly used to aid in the reduction of inflammation.  A popular practice is to ice the legs of the horse post workout to minimise damage of concussive trauma.  Icing is also great for ongoing first aid of tendon and ligament strains.
