Abbey Abantel™ is formulated to treat and control:

Roundworms (Toxocara spp., Toxascaris leonina)

Hookworms (Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma spp.)

Adult Tapeworms (Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum, Spirometra erinacei, Echinococcus granulosus)

Directions for Use
For oral administration only. Tablets may be given directly by mouth or crushed and mixed with food.

For Treatment of Spirometra erinacei
Administer four (4) times the standard dose rate.
General Worming Guidelines
Roundworms & Hookworms
Treat at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of age, then every 3 months.
Whipworms
Treat every 6–8 weeks after 3 months of age.
Hydatid Tapeworm
Dogs in hydatid risk areas should be treated every 6 weeks.
Do not allow dogs to consume raw offal.
Other Tapeworms
Treat every 3 months.
Pregnant Bitches
Treat at mating, prior to whelping, and then every 3 months.
For Dipylidium caninum (flea tapeworm), ensure effective year-round flea control.
