Feeding guide:
For horses over 200kg, feed 110g daily
(approximately 2 flat enclosed 60mL scoops)

For foals and ponies under 200kg, feed 1 flat scoop daily

Wattlelane recommends weighing all minerals where possible, as settling can occur during packaging and affect scoop volume. This helps ensure accurate feeding and prevents wastage.

Pregnant mares:
Flowers Gold is safe and highly recommended during gestation. During the last trimester and for the first 3 months post-partum/lactation, intake can be increased to up to 165g daily
(approximately 3 flat scoops).

It is also safe for foals, breeding horses and working horses.

What should I feed with Flowers Gold?
Flowers Gold can be added to a range of hard feeds including pellets, grains, lupins, copra, beet pulp and chaff. Wattlelane recommends feeding alongside a low-sugar, low-GI base diet, such as a mix of copra, cracked lupins, beet pulp and lucerne chaff, soaked well where required.

Additional quality lucerne hay can be offered ad lib, and coconut oil or cod liver oil may also be included if desired. No extra added salt is needed, though a Himalayan rock salt block is recommended with free paddock access.

Because Flowers Gold is already carefully balanced, avoid feeding additional non-Wattlelane supplements high in zinc, copper or selenium, as this may disrupt the intended nutrient balance and reduce absorption efficiency.

Will it make my horse hot?
No. Flowers Gold contains no added sugars, colours or flavours, which are common additives that may contribute to behavioural changes in some horses. Its nutrients are included in balanced, bioavailable forms to support daily health without unnecessary excess.

How long will a bag or bucket last?
Based on feeding one horse over 200kg:

• 2kg bag: approximately 18 days

• 4kg bag: approximately 36 days

• 12kg bucket: approximately 109 days

• 20kg bucket: approximately 181 days
