Administration of electrolytes is vital to replenish essential nutrients lost when horses sweat, particularly after training, travel, racing, during hot weather or competition. When horses sweat they lose electrolytes, mainly Chlorides of Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium. If these essential nutrients are not replenished as soon as possible, it can lead to other harmful conditions such as dehydration, muscular weakness, overheating, and tiredness – all contributors to poor performance on the race track or in competition.

Dose: Give 30ml (1/2 tube) orally per 500kg bodyweight after any exercise or travel. For heavy exercise and sweating, repeat after 20-40 minutes for best results.
